Hmm, I'm planning to visit a friend in L.A in March 2013 on my own since I will be 18 then. Wonder which airlines are usually the cheapest on the Singapore-transit point -Los Angeles route? Need round trip tickets. Anyone flew this route before and any experiences?

Basically I wanna avoid :
U.S based airlines
Airlines based in mainland China or Taiwan(excluding Eva Air)

Any suggestions?

My budget for air tickets is around 1700USD

I may consider that if by end of 2012, their price plans come out And it's cheaper than other carriers. Currently ANA is even more expensive than SQ when I looked up Zuji
