Newest arrival, Stunning model! Wasn't 100% about it due to the issue with the gear, the did require some work, took the bogies off and straightened the wheels. Perfectly straight now, want to add more detail , like the hydraulic lines. =) Enjoy :envy::envy:

For sale is a IF200 BEA/Eastern L-1011. This is the first L-1011 released by IF200. Model has been displayed but is in good condition. The bottom rear antenna is missing. Main and front gear are fine.

Moin's birthday was earlier this month and I had promised him that I would try to arrange something interesting as a present. That something interesting turned out to be a visit to Karachi Airport (with an access all areas pass) and unrestricted access to PIA's engineering facility at the Widebody hanger. What's more, we were able to get our cameras in, which is not exactly allowed :) Without going into details of how that happened, here's what we played with...

First, some apron activity.

This Tu154 is said to be haunted and some PIA engineering folks say that no one ventures near it at night. Moin and I have decided that a closer look and perhaps a walkaround at night is certainly warranted here.

Saw this beauty arriving in the bright afternoon sun yesterday afternoon (May 15) on Rwy 24R. Now flying as Korean Air Cargo from a previous passenger version.





Then later in the evening she departed from Rwy 23. These two were waiting to depart in front of her

On to taxiway Quebec...Sends such a chill when aircraft use this extra piece of taxiway, so much closer to the fence



They move so fast at this point, it's hard to focus on it...result blurry

Walked towards the Air Transat hangars as I saw this one being towed just around this time and wanted to get a good view of that new gorgeous Air Transat tail. Sorry the fence was in the way, and I didn't want to be seen with a camera photographing from so close by as there were some cleaning personnel on the steps of the jet!!
