Default scale aircraft forum.com down

Seems a major technical issue has arisen and the site is down, It may have to be restarted again from scratch possibly, so I thought anyone trying to visit might be wondering what is going on there.
Moderators please excuse me for posting this message here, just wanted to let people know that SAF is experiencing difficulties. please feel free to delete this message if need be. Thanks Steve Kicic

Is this a new site for mall texting tweeners, or is there actually content there worth reading?...other than "must-have", "I like it", "oh please make this", "I have this on order", etc....

If this vague response is typical of SAF posts one can look forward to...then I doubt it's worth the time. What is so difficult about giving specifics instead of this type two second "posting to post" answer????

It's exactly this reason, members go elsewhere to respond to posts of substance.

It is like many other forums, so It will have what you quote above, however, instead of being so negative, how about going there and giving it a real chance, instead of slamming it into the ground!! Its early days yet, so do not be too hasty to judge what you see on first impression, I could say the same about 400 sh, DAC and others being the same, but I don't! If you dont like what you see there, dont go there, and just keep your opinions to yourself, same as I do.

AGAIN...we could read this type of response anywhere. You should take your own advice.

Good, just don't bag other forums with your negativity as you just bring discredit on yourself, your ludicrous rants are not needed and your attitude is one of hostility, Id almost say you have a personality disorder of some kind!

261 posts here, well over 8500 on 400sh, and had 517 on saf before it collapsed. newbie, I think not !!!
I do get ticked off when I see people criticize other forums, yes, it makes my blood boil!!! I don't always agree with the postings I see on various forums, I see some waste of time ones, like you do, but such is life, take the good with the bad is my motto, if useless posts become regular on saf or 400 or here, I will say something to the mods, and it gets sorted out. by all means come take a look, dont like it, dont join up. I enjoy the fact its a fresh new start, and is more focussed about the hobby we all enjoy!

How very true mate, Im still trying to invent a better mouse trap.
My point is simply this, all forums are basically the same, they have the one or two worders, they also have some brilliant posters who are really full of great helpful ideas and information, I just get peeved when some people slam other forums without really becoming involved, judging a book by its cover is a term that comes to mind!
As I am active on a number of forums, I don't begrudge anyone making a posting, I just move on to the next in hope that its more worthy than a previous post may have been.
I enjoy all the forums for sure, and participate regularly on most of them, SAF is a new kid on the block and of no threat to any well established forum such as 400sh, DAC, Wings etc. I wish them well and still spend a lot of time visiting various other forums too!
