Default Replica Miniatures

Has anyone ever delt with them before??
Welcome to Replica Miniatures - UK based worldwide suppliers of static aviation models

I paid for a model on the 2nd of september and still have not received it. That's not what worries me so much, because it is overseas shipping. But they are not replying to my emails and they do not answer their phones.

There have been 2 past threads posted about RM. Avoid at all costs. They post items on their site they do not have in stock and then you never hear from them either via email or access them via phone. Their phone and internet lines seem to be having some permanent problem. Many of us here cancelled our orders and got refunds, the only thing they're experts at doing.

Do a search on Replica Miniatures and you'll see what I'm saying.

Yes thats the only way to deal with them. Miraculously I did hear from the girl who works there and she offered me a refund outright as they didn't have the models in stock, so I told her to please refund me asap, so after about a month I got my refund back, but I would bother waiting for a reply. Just wait for the refund from PP.

Beats me

I know I'm never buying from them again...

It's weird because their site is well maintained and constantly updated so why is it so hard to get a hold of them, and why are they so disorganized with their stock???

Oh yes, I was offered the PP BA 787 too. I turned it down and just asked for my refund. Yes they blamed Royal Mail for one model and their distributor not having the other one.

I had a similar experience with them, first wrong model sent then after returning said model took ages to try and get a refund. As experienced by others, never answer phone or emails. Avoid.Plenty of other really good retailers out there.

I bought the gemini germanwings bear bus a319 from them on ebay a while back and didnt recieve the model but i was prepared to give them another chance and bid on a second model whilst trying to get info back,
when i said i still hadnt recieved the first model they asked why i was bidding on a second model and basically said i was a thief trying to steal from them and they cancelled my second bid leaveing me bad feedback , 2 weeks later the model arrived back to them as return to sender they must have got my address wrong or something and it was basically un-delivered so they sent it out to me again and i eventually got it, unfortunetly my ebay feedback couldnt be fixed by them.
They are ok and will honestly try to ship your order but they have a few problems

I'm sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I guess I should've done some research before I placed an order with Replica Miniatures.

I ordered a GJ Concorde from them on 16 August, and while I'm prepared to wait patiently for another week or so (their website did say 5-10 working days for delivery) I think it's a bit worrying that my emails and phone calls have gone unanswered.

If I haven't received anything by the end of next week I'll have to raise a dispute through PayPal.

I have bought two models off Replica Minatures, the first being a Qantas 747 in 2006 the 2nd was the gemini 200 bmi a319, and each time i found the service excellent, the model arrived about 3 days after I placed my order.

However;

In June I went on to the site in July to see if i could pre order gj 200 the Hawaiian 767, my internet security poped up with the saying something about the site being infected, I didnt the vistit the site for a few weeks after that but then at the start of August I have been going on the site once a week to see if it has been updated but it hasnt.

No sooner had I posted my last message than I received a message from Debra saying that the model I ordered has been sold out. Yet it's still showing as "in stock" on its website!
