Fortunately EK did not revise it's scheme with the arrival of the A380s.....they are just changing the look of their cabin crews!

Looking at the size of it, that plane must be Jimbo's cousin!
![]() I'm sure at least .... umm, 3 of you have seen the relevant thread in the Off Topic section by now! Seriously though, the model looks pretty nice, but lets leave it 10 years out in the British weather and at the mercy of the local 'yoofs', and then lets see how good it is then. ![]() ![]()

Yes alot of QR A319's and A320's come to LHR. They are amiri flights, not scheduled pax flights. There is also a Qatar amiri 747SP standing at LHR right now.

As what? EK A380 attempts entering LHR via the terminal building? The BA 777 incident was more believable, this not.

As long as it doesn't have flashing lights, rotating fan blades and gears that go up and down every 5 mins because that could be a major distraction and the cause of more than one road accident.
I think those holes gain access to the mounting bolts for the wings, engines and fuselage. They will probably be capped when the model is complete.

I'm sure it would be strong enough to hold the weight, but I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to go and find out. Ever. Might end up being stabbed by lots of little shards of broken '380 all about the place as you go crashing through the roof or whatever ![]() Not only that, as you picked bits of plane out your bum, you'd probably end getting yourself arrested for your efforts anyway ![]() What is it, fibreglass??
