Thumbs up Glass display cabinet - Being at the right place at the right time..

Oh this is so great...
So I went to the Post office yesterday with some packages to ship out, while I was paying up to the cashier, one of the Post attendants were standing behind me, trying to move a display cabinet, I quickly thought of one of the guys either here from DAC or wings900 who was lucky to get a display when he went to his local post office, don't remember his name, anyhow I turned around and asked her, Are you guys getting rid of that cabinet ? And she responded, yes, it's leaving, we're getting some new ones, I then took the opportunity and offered them to take it away for them free of charges , Just to be polite in return for this, I asked and insisted how much they want for it, she said, no, you're not gonna pay for it, we're throwing it out, so free of charge! But then she continues by saying, if you really insist, you can support the post office by leaving something for the fight against Cancer - foundation..I left some 20's in the Cancer piggybank on the way out.. That's about 15 dollars...

The cabinet is blue on its corners and has glass shelfs, Will "refurbish" it and put more "levels" to accomodate more models. The background is grey, will cover it with aviation photos, It got two doors complete with locks and ofcourse keys to it. This is just perfect.

Talk about being at the right place at the right time.. Still payed something for it, and did a good cause at the same time, this made my day.

Will post some shots once Igot it cleaned up and set up with models and stuff...

Nice! Post pics when you get it set up. I'd like to find some sort of glass display cabinet/shelves eventually.

Dang, that was lucky. I have to start hanging around my post office more often.
