Hmm, I wouldn't be too sure about that.

According to jetphoto.net's aircraft census, it appears a good amount are apparently labled as "Active", looks like Aerocalifornia seems to have a few according to them. The one that Laser has I believe are DC-9-14s (which is still part of the DC-9-10 family), though I will admit, there are not as many active now, and the ones that are seem to be mostly cargo haulers. Still though, get a ride on a "baby DC-9" is still a pretty awesome thing, they're loud, but compared to what's flying today, they're a whole different experiance.

According to ATDB, 22 of them are still on active status (half for pure freight duties) : type "active DC-9-10" here AeroTransport Data Bank to get full details.

you're right, it's a DC-9 14, but I think Aerocalifornia has not DC-9-14s flying, there're a few stored, but I'm not sure

& compared to what's flying today, here are lots of DC-9s & 732's

CCS is the oldies paradise!!

saludos

You're right there, I tend to use the JP.net database since that is what I'm more familiar with since I dont' know many sites. The link Mystère seems to be better updated than JP's.

That must be USA Jet. They come to the midwest sometimes and the Chicago area.

Thanks for your reply 737~ Yes...youre correct. I had watched a couple segments being flown in real time on Flight Tracker some months back and posted the desktop snapshots from DAB to ATL and DFW---believe theyre based at Willow Run.

A rare bird for sure. Checked today. Shes not flying.

For the DC-9 lovers CCS airport is the paradise. This very aircraft is the horkhorse of Aeropostal and others venezuelan carrier. The B732 also has an important role on venezuelan aviation history.

VENEZUELA is the oldies capital of the world!!!

off topic: for those aeropostal haters, Aeropostal has new owners, the Makled family (they're sadly chavist), but the new owners are sexy!!!!!, this is what I mean:

the Makled's:
they're HOT!!!, they look like the hiltons, no???, With this owners I want to fly with VH!!!!
