Hi there I am flying to San Fransisco in 3 weeks from Auckland International New Zealand and am muddled up on who to fly with. Im deciding between Air NZ and United Airlines. I have heard only Great things about Air nz and that US Carriers a at the lowest of the Low. Air New Zealand has the most genourous setting as it gives you huge amounts of room in all classes. But with Air NZ it is higher in price.
I do know they operate there 777-200er to San Fransisco. They a fairly new aswell.I am not sure what united offer and what aircraft they will be using either. PLEASE HELP ME I AM STUCK ON WHO TO FLY WITH. POSTING REPLIES WOULD BE MUCH APRECIATED!!!! ![]()

Thank you man, and welcome to the forum!
ANZ is supposed to be an exceptional airline with great, freindly crews. United airlines is, well, not the best if you know what I mean ![]()

No US airlines are known for their world class international service and some are downright embarrassing. I would always choose an international carrier for international service unless I was using miles to get first class for free on a US carrier.

Air New Zealand. There is no comparison to North American airlines. Plus ANZ has a better livery. lol

well i thought United Airlines pulled out of that route long ago? like it was on the news 2 years ago me thinks.
but id fly air new zealand because their cabin crew offer better service, and check out grabaseat.co.nz, once they had oneway fares for like $499 i think, but im not sure, heard it through the grapevine and ive never flown with united so im not sure

United Don't fly it, they Don't even fly to NZ not since 2003.
Having flown Both ANZ is allright, United is useless. |
