Default Buying from FlyingMule? Think again.

Hello folks,

I would like to appologize for starting my very first post in this forum like this:
I've been collecting diecast military aircraft and AFV's for a few years and it proved to be a hard habbit to kick. Especially, when I saw a Gaincorp diecast Su-33 (not available in Canada) on flyingmule.com, I just couldn't resist the temptation and bought one from them. After receiving it after 10 days, I opened the box. It came with a yellow sheet indicating that it passed damage inspection. It was a beautiful aircraft, but...where is the instrument panel?

So I quickly did some search and confirmed that it should have an instrument panel. As obsessed with detials as I am, I just couldn't get over the missing instrument panel. Then I emailed the sales at flyingmule.com, asking for a product exchange/refund or whatever (I attached a picture the cockpit). Two business days went by without reply, so I emailed them again two days ago just to see if they had anything to say about it. I never had a reply from them. I know I could be a picky customer. But I'm just not impressed with how they passed inspection on an obviously flawed product and paid no attention to a lowly customer.

I don't think I'll ever buy anything from flyingmule.com. And I'd like to give you guys a warning: what happened to me could happen to you.

Anyways, sorry about the long post. If you know any trust-worthy retailer, please let me know. I may kick the seller, but never the hobby.

I have had no problems when dealing with the Mule (I have had emails go adrift though...) I would either e-mail them again or put a quick call out... as that is unlike Martin...

I agree with the last two sentiments, try and give him a call or send a couple additional emails I recently put an order for over half a dozen models and the transaction was completely flawless. You probabaly just got a dud model that got overlooked and are just having some mis-communication issues.

Aight. Thanks folks.
I don't have any reply that ended up in the junk box, but I'll keep contacting them.

I'd try the telephone too. Sometimes they get a little back-logged with their email, but I can assure you that they are a friendly lot and would never intentionally blow you off.

Finally had contact with Flyingmule and the problem is getting resolved. I'm quite satisfied with their attitude. I will certainly buy stuff from them in the future.
