Question about Doyusha model quality

Can anyone tell me about Doyusha quality? I've been told that the Doyusha 747 1/100 is the same as the Entex 747 1/100? Is that true? In other words buying a Doyusha 747 would be exactly the same as Entex. Or do I keep looking for an Entex 747?

Hope someone can shed some light on my dilemma.

Doyusha used the same mold as Entex; the first manufacturer has been Nitto Kagaku (very nice pictures on the boxes, larger boxes, many airlines decals: Pan Am, KLM, Air France, British, Lufthansa, BOAC, JAL, ANA, United). Entex used average dimension boxes, cheeper, and less interesting pictures on them; the liveries were United and TWA. Doyusha, the only manufacturer using now those molds, has smaller boxes, pictures only on the JAL 747 box; Decals are: JAL, ANA, United, British, Lufthansa.
No differences in molds, but there are different colours in plastic materials as regard to the main deck: grey for Entex, white for Doyusha. Some other parts are also in light grey for Entex.
Very detailed kits, require a lot of time to be built, but the result is wonderful. Decals' quality could be better; older kits sometimes have rare but damaged decals; no availability of ready made decals, but if you wish, you can buy custom made decals: F-decal and Drawdecals. bye.

I have built a Doyusha 1:100 747 kit myself! These are great quality and have a lot of detail (even including the floor for the main deck as well as a detailed upper deck assembly). Doyusha models take a while to build because of their detail. Plus, the kits come with a display stand, and can be built without landing gear (as I did mine).

Speaking of decals, I did not use the decals with my Doyusha kit. Instead, I totally hand-painted mine--because it was a one-off special fantasy livery.

Here is my SMITH AIRWAYS 747 built from my Doyusha kit. It took the entire summer of 2002 to build and paint it; the painting took longer. The livery is a one-off, special Celtic-inspired livery. The pictures don't quite do justice to it!

nice work yours. We should suggest Doyusha to make opening doors like on the 707 models (LH, Luftwaffe, AWACS, AF1) and a Combi or all freighter 747. Just to show the inside area, I opened the doors (two ones on the left side of my next 747 , PIA, now under construction)
