Spam Protection enabled on DAC

All,

Additionally Wings900 has take steps to reduce the amount of spam on the board. We have a two phase approach. The first catches certain types of posts and automatically puts them into an approval queue, preventing them from ever being displayed. The second line of defenses is if something does get through our filters all admins now with two clicks of the mouse can remove the user, delete all of his/her offending posts. This will greatly reduce the admin overhead.

Additionally, expect a new MAJOR release of the forum software in the next month.

Great news, as long as admins don't go too overboard with the "offending posts".

this is not for "offending posts", this is for spam. Like Free Cell Phone, or Lower your Mortgage, etc..
