Hello,
I was thinking that it would be nice to have a special model produced for the forum, what do you think about it? I know that each of us would like to have a different model but this doesn't mean that we could not find a model that could be appreciated by a lot of us. Personally I wouldn't like to have a fantasy livery model, I'd prefer a real one. I don't know if my idea can become a true project or not, but certanly all we can see - for example - the "thomaskirche" models. I mean something like this but with a real livery, a sort of club-model. Just my two words, but I'd like to know what you think about my proposal. Unfortunately I collect only 1/500 planes, but I think that the PLUNA special set is really beautiful! It is what I was speaking about, the only thing is that exist only one "special set", I'd like to have also a DAC-set in 1/500, maybe in the future it will be available.... is it possible Mr JohnnyB???
Why not to make a special model from Diecastaircraftshop each year? I think it would be great! Lollo |

Lollmz... DAC and W900 run on a budget of about $2k-$3k per year... it takes a significant investment to get the ball rolling on a model..

Can you explain me what is necessary to do to create a special edition? I'm really curious about it! Lollo |

![]() On top of it, the end part responsible for the model has to have licensing rights from the airlines. Sometimes the aircraft has to be licensed by the maufacturer as well, at that point you are lookin agt 15% profits going for licensing. In other words, DAC nor Wings900 would produce or support any model that was not licensed by the airlines. Maybe in the future we will release something... |
