All myself to introduce... myself

Hi all, just found out about all these cool planes after years of collecting die cast cars, and wanted to introduce myself on this board.

A little bit about myself, I live in the Seattle area, born and raised, and have loved planes my whole life. Graduated from U of Washington as a mechanical engineer, and my first job out of school was as a flight controls engineer at Boeing. I worked on the 737-700/800 on the Stabilizer Trim Motor, and on the 757-300's and 767-400's working on elevator feel, fcc, yaw damper and stabilizer actuator.

Laid off after 2 years at Boeing and transitioned into an IT guy, go figure. So there's part of my story. I've been lurking for a little while now and thought I would poke my head up and say hi.=)

I'm a great fan of Mr Boeing's products. It's a pity you didn't work on B747-400 rear-ends or I might have sampled some of your handywork. I just finished 15yrs flying 'em. A definite career pinacle. me thinks!
