Unhappy Tropical Megatop Help Needed

Hi I am currently painting a 1/144 Tropical MegaTop. I have problem painting the large FC, palm tree and the E on the sides of the plane and those little wordings on the nose...my 1/200 effort failed quite miserably....does anyone have any method of getting these intricate details painted on the plane....is decal the only option? Anyone out there made these decal at all?

Thanks!

Cool

I think you have done quite well!
There are only `normal' Singapore markings (decals) in 1/200 and 1/144 as far as I know. You might want to try a group I moderate:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/airlinermodelling
and see if someone else is interested.
So that I don't appeear to be in advertising mode: normally, I would have e-mailed that link privately
There are ways of printing your own decals, though of course you need the art work to start with.

Cool

Getting the artwork is easy as long as there ia a decent picture on Airliners.net.

I make all of my own decals.

Hey there Ming Chuang, that is very impressive. If you don't mind, is the model hand-painted with a brush or air-brushed?

Smile Thanks all

thanks for all the compliments.... really glad that you guys like it......the model in the background is a 1/200 Hasegawa 747-400 kit 100% handpainted...except for the decal for the vertical stabiliser and spray paint for the wings....the model infront is a Revell 1/144 747-400, again hand-painted....I am not sure whether I should proceed to hand paint the rest of the details...as I really do not know how to make these decals. I used the Rise Soon 1/250 and SJ 1/500 Tropical MegaTop as reference....there do not seems to be 2 tropical megatop that have the same colour scheme from different manufacturers....Thanks again

Thanks for the answer Ming Chuang. I think you should be able to get some of the details you need from books. I'll try to email you some from some magazines I got if you'd like.
