Actually the plane with the beard was Air Israel.

Didn't know Boeing had a 'kosher kit' (beard, yarmulke and prayer shawl) available as an option!  Airplane! was just on in one of the Starz! cable channels tonight. Haven't had a good laugh in a long time. "...It's a big white building with generals, but that's not important right now... "... Striker hears about it (the loss of the #4 engine, the s*** is gonna hit the fan!" (Complete with graphic description afterward, to get the point forcefully across.) "...And stop calling me Shirley!"

Watched "Airplane" on my portable DVD player on the last long distance flight I was on (they are all long when one is exiled in Hawaii) . The other passengers around me didn't appreciate it though. I wonder why?
