I really don't see anything wrong with the custom work. They look great. I'm actually working on a Spirit MD-80 custom right now. The thing with customs is that you are limited to the "donor" models that are available. It looks like these Spirit A321s used the Dragon mold, which we all know could be better. But the custom work done on the markings looks great to me. I'm guessing the decals used were from Draw Decal, which is a great source for 1:400 decals. My Spirit MD-80 decals are from Draw.

I think they look great also.

The 1/400 scale is way to small for me to work on so anyone who does any customizing in that scale I think is superb.

I have done many in 1/200 but not 1/400 in addition to removing what the original livery was then adding a new one - way too much for me in 1/400

Congrates to all you who work on 1/400.

I think that 1:400 models are said to be better and have better paint is because they are bigger, therefore the prints don't need to be compressed. I do however believe that most recent 1:500s including Herpa NG are fantastic. You can do a lot worse like... lets say... Schabak 1:600? Well... You can't complain about there older models since that was what all mould were like but there most recent ones, before they stopped production, could have been given new moulds.
