Just saw on their website that they will release 737-700 and 737-800 in 1/200 in July. Both with winglets!
The first two will be ANA gold 737 and JAL 737-800 第47回静岡ホビーショー ハセガワブースご案内-新金型・大型新製品 at the middle to the bottom of the page. |

Great!
I hope a 777-200LR/-300ER with correctly sized GE90s isn't too far behind. I was afraid they stopped making new 1/200 airliners. |

I hope they can release 777-300 ER too since both JAL and ANA had got some I think. Hasegawa usually produce aircraft types that JP airlines have, and I really want ANA Cargo or JAL something...

Great, I'll pick up one of each too.
Kai would you know who has the best selection of 1:200 decals? I sent 2 emails to Draw but he never replied. I'm looking for the 1:200 Spicejet 737-800 decal sheet. |

draw is crap, laser printed, and you can see each individual dot from the printer. not to mention their decal film is thin but too thin so it breaks easily.
liveries unlimited and flying colors are my first choices for quality. if not avigraphics and there are some others that come REALLY close, the quality line is a blur. as far as selection is concerned, i wouldnt know as there are just too many decals to keep track of it all. hope that helps. |

I wish some carriers in Japan would acquire 757s. Then we might see it released by Hasegawa!

Ok Kai, you told me which are the best quality decals. Now tell me the best place to get them from. I need the names of some retailers, websites etc. Thanks.

Airline Hobby Supplies, Airline Kits, Decals and Diecast Models. is my one stop shop. their search function is crap though but their selection is insane. so if you search for something and dont find it, that doesnt mean they dont have it.

I've bought from him before. Takes him 6 months to reply to an email. I can't wait that long.

The last time I emailed him and gave him a list of over a dozen items to reserve or order for me and he said he'd done so, after that nothing. No response to my e-mails or faxes. I ended up buying alot of those items elsewhere, yet he still has some items I want but when he's so non-responsive, I'll be forced to go elsewhere.

Cant wait to get my hands on that 737-800, maybe put in AA colors.
Moin, did you try calling Russ? He is a very nice guy (he insisted that I come to his house and see his selection!). Im sure that you dont want to call accross the pond though. |
