Default Hasegawa 777-300 ANA

Hi guys, this is my first Hasegawa model, a 773, and I had a few ?s.
1. On the directions after where you assemble the fuselage, It says fill in window holes to make ANA B777-300. Do I put the window decals on before the regular ones, like the stripes? If thats the case, then wouldn't the decals cover the windows up?
2. On the back it says correct method for applying decals - 1 clean model surface with wet cloth 2 cut out each design shape and dip them in warm water for 20 seconds, etc.

If anyone has answers, please post!

1. then why not just put the stripes on first? sounded like you answered your own question. yes, stripes first
2. is this a statement or some question?

no other way, youll need water. not sure what warm water does but i just use cold filtered drinking water. get it to the point where its somewhat moveable on the paper backing and then slide it off onto the model itself, dont let the decal come completely off during the soak into the water.

John,
are you referring to the 1/200 ANAT73 or the 1/400 scale model kit. Yup there is such an animal and I have a copy with the wave livery.

But with the decals, just apply over the top. They will cave in a little when dry but with a coat of clear spray, will harden nicely.
Am I too late with the advice?
Tim

Thanks Tim,
your not too late. I could use that advice later on to refer when I do my next one. I just finished the ANA T7 regular c/s, and I think it looks great. I will post pics soon.

Oh God. Look shall I pull out the box, the brushes, paints, spray cans et al and get started on mine just to calm you all down? I'd need 2 days max to complete it.

On second thought scratch that. You'll all be after me next.
