Default anyone try inkjet decals before?

anyone try inkjet decal sheets and print your own decals with your printer before? if so what are your opinions?

Hi,

look at our homepage. We use inkjet decals for 1:500 scale customs at a rate of 99% with much success. Check the resolution of the prints, they are way better than thermodry prints.

ah i see! thanks for the info!
i was just wondering how inkjet ink doesnt run when the decals are put in water....

you have to seal the decals before watering - all described at our website.

and sealing will prevent yellowing too?

Yellowing is not up to the decal film you use, but to the final coating. Modern acrylic coates don´t yellow. But sealing will also prevent the colors from turning pale from oxydation.
Naturally you should not expose the models to sunlight or powerful electric light, but who does in this way with his models....
