Default B737-500 G-MSKB "Colum"

The photograph has tended to wash out the colours as I used flash - will try to do a better one when the other four are ready - but would be interested in your comments

It's tiny but nice! Did you use decals or was that tail painted?

Looks pretty good for a decaled model. Will the other four models be the same tail or other world tails?

There will be a total of 5 different - this is the B737-500 Utopia Maersk Fleet as a BA Franchise - if you wish a sister fleet to the Embraers

Looks awesome! Will the 5th model carry the Waves and Crane (Japan) world tail? Did you also change the registrations for all of them? If so, what are the registrations for the respective tails? Thanks!

[quote=hugo;490726]Here are the five BA Utopia B737-500s

G-MSKA - Blue Poole (England) G-MSKB - Colum (Ireland)
G-MSKC - Waves of the City (USA) G-MSKD - Whale Rider (Canada)
G-MSKE - Delftblue Daybreak (The Netherlands)

This is the B737-500 Maersk Air fleet operating a British Airways franchise hence the Utopia tails.

Four sets will shortly be available (prices similar the the Embraer customs) and the odd individual custom, but they will be limited in number because GJ have already sold out of the base BA model. fyi there are a very few individual Embraer custom Utopia tails still availably but no complete sets are left - we are talking one or two models and again GJ are sold out.

contact hugo@cwgsy.net is you want to investigate further.

Wow, impressive and thanks for the info!

Maybe it's too tiny to be seen in the pic, but since they are all operated by Maersk Air, shouldn't there be a Maersk Air title and logo below the cockpit windows? I may be able to get you more GJ BA ERJ-145 and B737-500 base models. PM me if you are interested!

The log was too small to really do at that scale - tampo printing could probably cope but not decal so we decided not to do them rather than just have a blob. With regards to your other point it really depends on numbers and price - retail prices would really make the finished product very expensive both for capital released initially and storage etc.

Scale is 1:400 and yes they are for sale - individually or as sets - obviously a discount for the set. If interested feel free to email

I'm a 1/500 scale collector... if it was 1/500, i would be interested.
How do you get those stickers? Are these available for 1/500?

have you made some 1/500 scale models? or only 1/400?

We designed and produced them - that is really quite a precision job to get them the right shape as we are talking three dimensional models and two dimensional decals - takes a long time. At present not available in 1:500 though you could well have a word with Lollo who produces really good custom 1:500 scales.
