Sabena Sikorsky S-55 alu cast model

Hi Folks,

this is the latest 1/50 aluminium cast model made by myself for myself: A Sikorsky S-55 Sabena "Chickasaw".
I started this after a successless attempt to get an original Sabena S-58 made by "Raise Up" (too expensive..).

Hi Chris,

Very nice casting! A photo of an original S-55 Raise-Up you will find at Fred Cox DC-8 Jet Collection Index in the 'Mile Collection'
A pity the livery is not correct. Under the blue cheatline it must be silver/grey.

Will you make other castings in the future?

Hi Fernand,

you got me. I know, that the colour below the cheatline is unperfect. But I am only working with automotive paints, and there were not so many cars out there painted in silver/grey/blue... Luckily the photograph is little misleading. In reality the blue is some lighter than the blue of the cheatline, so it doesn't disturb that much.

I stopped the "heavy metaling" for a while, since I've been now in charge for father since 5 months....
