Fantastic! Finally found a way to cut the flaps out of the HAS kit! Been meaning to order a few of those from Kurt, now I'm definitely going to get on the stick!
Are those custom decals or did you manage to get ahold of some of Clint's 200AD decals? |

Thanks V1UHOH!!!
The Decals are custom made from TwoSix Decals. Yes, the flaps were a real challange! Best Regards, Brad |

How much does one of your custom models go for? My sister's boyfriend is an ex-AA pilot who would be delighted to receive one of your creations.

Brad, don't you stop?
This is really great! I am not familiar with Authentic Airliners. Where did you get the 727-100 fuselage? Beautiful work, as always and great photos also. Thanks for sharing. ![]() |

Hi Carlos,
Thanks for the reply! Sure, send me a pm and I can explain the logistics better. DLmd11.....I know it's getting crazy with a lot of builds still to be finished. However, it still seem's like it's always the first build. I guess I'll stop when I get this airliner quest out of my system. You know what it's like living near ORD....endless enjoyment...right? I got the fuselage from Kurt from Authenic Airliners. He makes 1/144 scale 727's and 737's kits and had a 1/200 fuselage for the Hasegawa kit. Great stuff he has casted. Thanks for all the replies and support from the whole forum ![]() Brad Last edited by Brad; 01-02-2007 at 12:20 AM. |

Yes Brad, it is great here at ORD.
I am four miles from the end of 27L and one mile south, so I see all the approaches when that runway is in use. Sometimes it is hard getting anything done around the house when some unique or rare stuff comes in. I have many kits to build and I look forward to getting back into it. It is really a lot of fun and frustration also, but well worth it when the model is completed. I look forward to seeing photos of your next project. ![]() |

looks nice with the flaps out. Can you do 737NGs and the 300 and 400 models like that?

Man, you are amazing. How many models have you built in your lifetime would you say Brad?
How old were you when you started building? How old were you when you started building SERIOUSLY? (kuz i am sure u started building more and with detail as years went by)

Hi Jason,
I have been building airliners for a long time! I have no idea how many I've done. Right now I'm re building the studio so I have more room to finish more. Thanks for the nice reply, Brad
