Sounds like you're doing a scale plastic model.
If you want to get any tips on assembling, decaling and painting, you should visit sites about scale modeling like - http://aircraftresourcecenter.com/ - http://airlinercafe.com/ etc... You'll find most everything you want to know about scale modeling there. |

As this is your first plastic kit attempt, don't kill yourself trying to make it perfect. It takes many tries to get that perfect model.
The first thing any good modeller will need is patience. A kit like that isn't designed to be able to go together in one night. While not a pro, I have been building plastic models for many years and use a number of different techniques based on the result I am looking for. Rather than post a novelette here, I'll second Phantom's post and recommend trying one of the links posted. Good luck! |
