acetone... ie: nailpolish remover..
generally takes off tampo-printed items, but leaves the basecoat of paint. -t |

Laquer thinner worked for me. But you have to be VERY carful because it takes off all the paint.

Well Dylan,
I would mask the grey bottom portion and use Acetone. If you don't mask it, it might leak into the bottom and cause the paint to spread. Make sure to use lots of q-tips like one per two strokes (Make sure to rotate it). I hope this helps and if you need anything else, give me an email. Alpha

Thanks Jordan and everyone else. Im trying to make a corporate 737-200 and the Xiamen's cheatlines look pretty good. No titles, no tail logo....looks very corporate to me. Hey Jordan, how much would you charge to make a custom N-number for this plane??

. Just the N number? Does free sound attractive? I'm just not sure how sharp I can get it. I will experiment. The only way to strip those wings is to take all of the color off and redo them. Or else, get another cheap 732 on that mould and use it's wing set.By the way, how do you know my name? Alpha

Easy Off oven cleaner works really good too. It's safe even on plastic. I use it all the time to remove old paint and decals from plastic models. It will remove tampo print but leave the base coat. Same caution and techniques as using acetone though. Don't let it come into contact with what you don't want removed.
