Wow... Chris is really churning out some great stuff... we, on the otherhand, have idled our production till we get X-mas done for the kids...
Anyway, here's a slightly different (white belly) Delta L1011-500, new colors version of our previous silver belly "The Phoenix", model... I threw this in production last week while doing some silver one's. It's reg # N759DA which many of us already have in our collections but registered as a Pan Am L1011. Personally, I now tend to prefer the white belly version... imho... nice. Need to adjust those door portholes... - Delta L1011-500 - N759DA - 1/400 Gemini (come on GJ II's!) - Airbrushed enamel - 3D window/ cockpit - metallic silver frames - matched engine scheme - "The Phoenix" nose insignia - "chromed" edged cowlings - metallic vert stab edge - indicated nav lights - the usual blood, sweat and tears...

Hays Customs promotes safe diecast collecting... "Drink and Collect Responsibly" Wow... thank you Russell! That's quite an endorsement... Sounds like the the two exotic UPS delivery dancers I hired made it there with your models just as I had planned...![]() FYI.. we idled custom production all last week to play Santa but are today starting to gear back up. We'll see what planned new models we can put togather for display by the LAX Expo Feb 1st... Yes, N1011, we intend to have at least one BWIA n/c L-1011 to show, and the Airtours project has been suspended maybe replaced with a Landor...

It really would have been nice if Delta had repainted the "Delta Belle" and put her on static display. I wonder if they will ever have another plane that people really identify them with. By the way, does anybody know if ATA retired Deltas' first L-1011 N701DA AKA N195AT?
