Thumbs up I love it

Bravo !
I like the livery of this starting-up Indonesian carrier.
The real plane ( reg.PK-IAB ) has just passed over my house in Yogyakarta one hour ago.
Is it a 1:200, 1:400, or 1:500 scale model ?

Local airplane model manufacturers in Indonesia so far only produce the 1:200 or 1:100 scale models, but although the quality is good, they are too big and I don't like all of them since no manufacturers here producing models with landing gears.

Hopefully either Herpa or Starjets will produce the 1:500 model of IO's planes

It is a 1:400 model. What are the local model manufactures in Indonesia? I have family there and visit frequently. Thanks.

I think the best one that also posts its address in yellow pages is Dyono Models, in JKT. They produce fibreglass models with stand only; they produce models in meticulous markings, but unfortunately they do not produce any models with landing gears.
There are several model manufacturer in Indonesia, like JKT, BDO, or JOG. I bought and still have some models from those local manufacturers.
I still have 2 wooden 1:100 models with stand: Merpati F27-600
(reg.PK-MFA) and Garuda F28-4000 (reg.PK-GKA). I bought them at Hussein Sastranegara Airport Shop (BDO, West Java). I am not sure if the manufacturer still exists until now, since it was only a home industry ( the owner's name is Mr.Slamet ).

Default F27 MK600 Merpati

By the way, 3 years ago I took a picture of myself with my Merpati Nusantara (MZ) F27-600.
Now those 2 1:100 wooden models are at my home in JKT; I will post the picture of my F28-4000 of Garuda Indonesia (GA) if you guys want.

I am not quite sure if there is any model manufacturer in SUB, but my dad who just returned from SUB, he told me that there were some airplane models for sale at Juanda Airport ( I don't know whether they were made of wood or fibreglass and of what scale they were ). He said that there were various airlines, such as Bouraq (BO), Merpati (MZ), Lion Airlines (JT), Star Air (5H), and Kartika (KAE) ; mostly of them were 737-200.
And of course, I am not interested since my dad said that they were without landing gears ... but good enough for travel agent display !

Default Rear Side of PK-GKA

The RR Spey engines are not so accurate, but take a look at the airbrake.

Thanks for the info. Do you know where in Juanda they had these models for sale as my uncle travels in and out of Surabaya quite frequently. Thanks.
