Has anyone ever used 1:44 decals on a 1:200 model and if so how does it look?

I can imagine they would be too big and not fit properly. Although I know that some people like to cut out bits and pieces to use. For example using 1:144 titles for a 737 as 1:200 titles on a 777.

Hello Joe. It depends on what decal you use. I have used in some instances, 1/144 decals such as stripes and some of the aircraft doors and trimmed them, alot of work though! Such stripes as from liveries as American, Eastern, Delta and some others I can't remember. The exceptions are windows for the most part, however, I've found that the titles for smaller aircraft such as the 737 or 757 for example in 1/144 would work well for a 1/200 767 or 777. What type of models did you want to work on? Good luck!
