Default 1:200 Singapore Airlines 50th Anniversary 9V-SMZ

Here are the final pictures of the project. She was formerly Virgin Atlantic Bw47-400 from Skymarks/Risesoon. Couple of flaws here and there but i like her very much =D

For WIP pictures, please look here

Here she is in her former colours, albeit with 2 repainted engines

Took me a couple of months to get all the stuff ready, paint, thinner, decals, model, research on painting techniques and practice painting on unwanted toys. I did it pretty slowly so it took about a month, if i were to do everything at once it would probably take me a week or so to finish it :P. There are tiny dust particles stuck to the gloss coat which is too small for the camera to pick up, but thankfully they are only prominent when you do a close up inspection. The tail decal on the port side is kinda screwed up due to me applying clear coat too quickly before the decal dried completely xDDD

Great model!
The skymarks gear doesn't do it justice; i'd get some hogan wheels to replace them!

You may want to consider these:

Brilliant job, stunning livery but I hate that decal sheet, literally despise, loathe and hate that decal sheet with a passion.

Thanks! I did consider them, i have a spare set from my Hogan 748 but the nose gear doesnt really fit nicely. My front gear is also jammed and i cant remove nor push it in and im afraid of breaking it hence i have left it in this state. Then again in my opinion the risesoon rubber gears doesnt look too bad
