Al, as brilliant as ever. Go ahead and send me a copy. E-mail me what you want for it. It'll go great with the B727 Billboard you did for me.

Al, how does the GJ 747SP compare with the IF version or are they from the same mould? Your custom work, by the way, is absolutely brilliant!

Hi Guysm
Thanks for the comments yes shes a beauty and Ive made one for my collection! I dont have any FI200 747SPs on hand at the moment so cant compare but this seems to be very similar (plastic engines) but i think the landing gear seems to be a bit more sturdy..?? anyone else know the differences between the 2??

Looks fantastic Al, I particularly like the 50th Flight addition, it really makes the model unique.
Here's hoping she makes her way safely across the ocean. The rest of her family are waiting for her arrival.

She made it! What a gorgeous model.
Anyone considering a custom should not hesitate to contact Al. He does terrific work, ships promptly with great packaging, and is easy to stay in contact with.
Five out of five stars!
Now I need to save up for the next one...

Re: GJ200 BILLBOARD Pan AM 747SP
Hi, yes I have that book, along with "Skygods", "The Chosen Instrument", "American Icarus" and "An Aviation Legend".
REG Davies' book is highly informative and interesting. It was written, however, in 1987, so the last few years of Pan Am's life are not covered.
The next two will be a "Billboard" 727, and a Concorde, which will join my SST on a "what might have been" shelf.

Re: GJ200 BILLBOARD Pan AM 747SP
Never seen that one before (just checked, October 2003, and out of print)
I'd like to buy it, if one ever turns up for sale.
