Re: Hogan 777-200 repaint - JAL Oneworld Mural
I was thinking of making this one in 1:500 but i never got around to it. I still haven't found a standard livery donor for a reasonable price.
The funny thing is that this reg exists in 1:500, but in the standard livery.

Hey, neat! If you could find one in the standard livery with this registration that would save you a lot of trouble on the wings/engines, stabs and tail. Be careful though, my standard livery donor was way too yellow for my likings so it kind of came back to bite me in the end. Let me know if you ever want some 1:500 decals for this.

Ah yes! The -300 version comes with JA8941 regs. where as the -200 comes with JA704J. If I had to pick one of those models to repaint though I would try to get the Aeroclassics one. Not only does it appear to be cheaper, but the wing-attachement will work better with the decal. It looks like the hogan one takes the belly off too which could pose some problems.

JA8941 is a -300 not -300ER. She wore lots of special schemes. I'll make both -300 and -200 in 1/500, I've just found the donor for the -300, the -200 will follow...
Great custom, Ben!!

My bad. Must've been looking at another model at the same time.

Here's the -300:
I've noticed it lacks the emergency overwings markings, I'll add them later...a -200ER will follow in some weeks...
Great job with the decals, Ben!!
