Default HELP! Gemini200 767's

Hi all,

I wanna make a Gemini200 United 767-300 Star Alliance and a Gemini200 Continental 767-200

I found decals of them.

Can someone tell me how to strip the paint and what paint to use to make it look like a legit gemini200 model?

what all do i need?

Thanks

Nail polish remover might work since it has acetone in it. Maybe testors paint brush cleaner also.

Well, i'm no pro, most modifications i have made were ok but i usually send my projects to another party (Bill-ay) to get the best results. You may consider waiting to see if Gemini makes a 767-200 in Continental colors first, i would imagine that they would do a CO in the 762 mould as it's a very popular scheme on a very popular aircraft. Just my 2 cents....Good luck!

I would not strip the models down to bare metal. Use some very fine sandpaper (preferably wet sanding type) to lightly 'rough up' the model surface then airbrush the model to suit your needs.

1. Dismantle model.
2. Identify plastic parts and put them aside.
3. Soak diecast in laquer thinner to remove all paint.
4. Wash.
5. Paint.
Primer
Mask
Paint
6. Decal
7. Reassemble.
8. Clear coat with future floor wax.

Good luck!
