No, I the yellow dashed line place next to the taxiway centerline 150ft before a runway holding position. Like this:

Lightbulb My Model Airport - Jas.me.uk

I started my model airport by buying the 1/400 scale GeminiJets airport terminal, GeminiJets Airport Mat and additional GeminiJets 14 piece ground accessories sets. I originally kept the 3 piece airport terminal and Airport Mat standard. After a while I decided I wanted to customise my model airport. The original plan was to add model grass, but this slowly changed over time and a simple log is shown underneath with progress bars. A new Herpa Tower set is the latest additional, again customised to fit my model airport.

Progress 100% - Add model grass to ground base and cut out grass areas on Airport Mat.
Progress 100% - Customise Jetties.
Progress 100% - Customise 3 piece Terminal buildings with external airline logos, office windows and internal shops, seating inside the terminal buildings.
Progress 100% - Add Taxiway posts and signage to the model grassed areas and airport mat.
Progress 100% - Attach mats to a permanent ground board.
Progress 100% - Add Taxiway, Runway and external terminal lighting.
Progress 100% - Add wear and tear to taxiways, runways and stands.

Progress 60% - Add a Control tower, add lighting, interior details to control tower.

Progress 20% - Customise Ground Vechicles.
Progress 20% - Re-design the 3 piece Terminal buildings roof.
Progress 20% - Complete edges around the Baseboard

Lightbulb My Model airport - Jas.me.uk - Pictures part 4

My model airport has taxiway and runway lighting, taxiway and runway signage lighting, it has been designed with priority given for display purposes. My model airport lighting is created using 5 or 6 rolls of Herpa optical fibre and 1 Herpa LED box (Continious) and 1 Herpa LED box (Flash and chase). (I will be adding a video to Jas.me.uk to show where i have used the continious lighting and where i have used the flash and chase lighting.)

Hello Cathay Pacific B-HKD, what would you like more info about specifically?

More info can be found at HERPA Miniaturmodelle GmbH - Online on both the products
