For those who remember my Christmas Project, or my previous posts, here are a few updates I was finally able to make after a very long and busy semester in school. Easy on the critics, I've got PLENTY of work before I can consider this a finished work. I've got more models coming in next week, so stay tuned. And as always, feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm currently working on T1 & T2. My design has changed slightly making the terminal on the pictures my international Terminal. Domestic airlines (aa, delta, southwest, nwa, etc...) are to be on two more shelves i'm in the process of building. Looking really good so far, will post pictures soon i hope.
ICEColdair, this is a 100% custom terminal built with tinted acrylic (acrylic from home depot, and car tint). Looks very realistic when it comes to duplicating the reflective glass effect. The AA-MD11 was on a stand, 30 second messy photoshop job gave it the "landing gear retracting" effect... or kinda. Stay tuned, as long as I have time I will be posting updated pictures soon. So far, they've helped with bags, helped find hotel accommodations and
ground transportation, provided cold water, even bought several passengers something to eat. We've also passed out thousands of brochures explaining the new parking and security rules in simple terms.

I think this airport going to need another runway! Amazing work. You should add some landing lights.

runway #2 is part of the plan, however it will require a slight extension since my current runway is barely enough for commuter jets and small equipment. It will run parallel to the current runway on the opposite side of the airport terminals, i would like for it to be twice as long but no room to do that. I'm conscidering lights for the tarmac on the shelves, less complicated to stow away than the entire plywood sheet. I already have fiberoptics and rice leds to work on this project, so fingers crossed for tons of patience and time off!! |

Hope that A380 doesn't fall off the shelf.
I like the shelf idea the best - you can get a nice display in, without dominating a room of your house.

As long as your airport is in 1:400 or 1:500 scale, and you have been invited, then you are in. I do request you have a functioning website for you airport, as well as a name, so that I can add it to the alliance website. You can email me at globeallianceairports@live.com
