I received the one last night to which I replied today. I'm glad you like, let me know if she's ready!
![]() Prestwick Pioneer: Thank you for your kind words. I must say it has taken many years and experiments to get to this level. Stay tuned to my TWA terminal thread as I will be updating that sometime soon! |

Do you know if the real tower has a fence? I thought I saw one on it, but I might be wrong.
I just sent you an email (regarding payment)

Congratulations and Mingjim, you are a lucky guy! That is the best handmade no, the best terminal I have ever seen! Not handmade/homemade, I would pay the same price for that as the GJ Terminal.

Wow!!! You have got to be kidding me!!! This is mind-blowing!! Are you an architect??? We used to make models in architecture school but those were terrible compared to this. Amazing!!! Maybe I should take a month off from work and sign up for a class.

This is going to be 1/400 scale. Unfortunately, I have not been able to work on the project (too busy with work). Hopefully I can work on it a bit more in the upcoming weeks.

Here is a photo I took today of the project. I finished drilling the holes (for fiberoptics) for both runways, approach lights, 1/3 of taxiways. Each runway will use approx 400-450 fiberoptic fibers (that means a lot of drilling). I am going to use approach light towers that will extend into the "water". I am currently detailing the 2nd runway.

WOW!,
Mingjim, your work is just amazing! And oilJFK's terminal defies discription! What astounding architecture! I don't believe we think that far outside the box when building here in The States. Wish we did. Both you guys are GREAT! I share norhtwah's sentiments on your wonderful project ........ I HATE you, both! Fondest regards, Brian
