Default Clear Protective Plastic/Glass for Airport

Hi,

I am planning to build a 1/400 model airport diorama on large table, but I want to have a clear protective plastic/glass cover for it, so when people come to my house they will not accidentally damage it. I'm not sure where to look for this type of thing as I've googled, but haven't been able to find what I need. Any ideas?

Thanks

I plan to do the same with my diorama, although my main concern is dust. Constantly cleaning such small stuff would be a pain in the neck.

Sorry to "hijack" your thread but what do you guys use for that purpouse?
If you find it convenient, I can create a new thread, but I think it covers more or less the same subject.

Personally, I have thought of using acetate. However, I wouldn't recommend it for you since it would give little to no protection against "Godzilla" (If you know what I mean).

A more expensive but good looking option would be glass. Maybe it's a bit too much.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll take a look into plexiglass and acrylic.

Mikeport - No worries, but yes dusting is another concern of mine. @ "Godzilla". That could be a drunk adult or a typical child.

Hahaha Godzilla would be any real size living individual who may harm your diorama either accidentally or on purpose. Ironchef gave a nice definition too

I will also look for acrylic and plexiglass and ask for pricing, depending on that I might switch back to acetate. Prices in Spain could be a bit different.
