Exclamation [HELP!] Airport Terminal Design

Hey guys,
I am curruntly measuring out and construction my 1/400 airport. But i need some creative help from you guys. Im stuck with a problem, i want to build a terminal with gates and it could be able to park around 10-20 or even 20-30 airplanes in it. I've got around 1.5 metres (4ft 11) by 1.8 (5ft 10) work with.. I've researched alot of ideas on Google maps and nearly been to every airport and been unsatifised This is just one part of my airport so the runway and other terminals and facilities are not including in this part of the airport. So im asking for suggestions from you guys.
Thanks sincerly.

Hey geminijets888, i'm looking to build an airport in 1:500 scale, i have the plan to make a modular airport terminal. although it will take me some time to put my plans to work. i have decided to make the airport by 3D printing... i will upload a preview of the airport once i have done the 3D model on the computer..

I suppose it depends on what you want the terminal for and what time-frame you're putting it in. The only way you're going to come close to 30 gates in the space you have is if you're either doing a commuter hub, or if you're mixing some terminal spaces with remote gates. For an example of a commuter hub terminal, take a look at Terminal D at Cleveland Hopkins (KCLE). Cincinnati (KCVG) had Concorse C, which ceased operations in 2009, and foremerly operated as Comair's hub.

Thanks! downloaded it just now. so you really started from scratch? I was thinking if there was already a template I could use and then just modify..

Think angles. You'll get the most bang for your buck.

Here's a quick shot of your space (green) superimposed on the international terminal portion of my 1980's layout (in progress...).

There's 23 gates (mostly wide bodies) and with your space you could easily get to 25 - 30. Now, if you're only doing A-380 gates, that's a different story.
