Well that was a huge disappointment. First time I've left a show with nothing. Geoff Noble had his usual haul but that was about it. ARD had next to nothing. Left after 15 minutes...

Must say I disagree, it was MUCH better than manchester, there were some nice models around, ARD was ok, but ridiculously overpriced. I managed to find a stand that had a whole pile of 1:200 white metal models, I was in heaven and bought plenty of WWII props and a Sabre in 1:200. I just wish I had more money to spend!

The best part was probably meeting all the people from DAC, next time I am quite tempted to have a stand as I didn't manage to shift any of the models I took with me, perhaps eBay it is!

Guess it all depends on what you're after. I had a list of about 5 1/400's and didn't see any. They weren't exactly old releases either - from around Aug/Sep of this year.

Picked up 3 1:400 MD-11's at bargain prices and a Gemini 200 British Airways A321, G-EUXL, flew on the actual aircraft last year. I enjoyed the event.

errr it was BEN you met actually mike not bob!!! although a lot of people call me bob!! thought it was a good show too, and there was some defo bargains as well. met the usual forum members there, and met pacmin man on here for first time too!! it was a good turn out despite it being rememberance sunday!! will post some pics of show and models collected later.

Thought it was better upstairs. Seemed less crowded and easier to look around. Still only bought a spotting book. Saw loads of stuff modelswise but nothing that really grabbed me.
Radio Rally downstairs was also a bit diappointing.
But had a cracking day at Heathrow. Some excellent piccies with blue sky and sun.
