Farnborough 2012
Anyone from here going to be there? I got my ticket for Friday the 13th of July which is Jubilee Day and hopefully less of a rush than on the public days.

Re: Farnborough 2012
One of these days when I'm no longer a poor college student, I'll make it out of the U.S. (and not on a military deployment) and get to that show as well as the Paris Airshow. I'm looking forward to the future experience.

Re: Farnborough 2012
I have a Press Pass for Farnborough and will be there Tuesday and Wednesday at least, depending on weather. Would love to meet you Moin, but all the really interesting aircraft are scheduled to leave the show Thursday night! Manufacturers consider all deals will be done by then and they can't be bothered to display their aircraft to the public over the weekend. More regular show aircraft like the Red Arrows will be there for the weekend.
ARD will have a stand there, just below the exhibitors tents, so you may find some new releases on sale there.

Watch out for low-flying aircraft . But have a great time .
Farnborough is on my bucket list. Hopefully I'll make it there in a few years.

Re: Farnborough 2012
I was going just to see the connie, but sadly it has had to cancel due to engine problems. Apparently it won't be airborn again until at least end of August.
Anyone passing through the area on Wednesday is very welcome to come and visit the Heathrow Model Airliner Club. 7pm Wdnesday 11th July.

I believe it. For them, who the hell are members of the public anyway? Once their bank balances are bursting at the seams and ego's boosted and inflated, they're too busy laughing all the way to the bank than to be concerned about anything else.
