Awesome guys! I'll probably do what I did last year-attend the show for a couple hours, buy tons of stuff, go and park at Newak Liberty Intl, take the airtrain around the airport for a bit, then connect onto the NJTransat train and go to NYC and in NYC take the LIRR to JFK and spot for a little there

Hey so I was thinking of taking Amtrak from CT down to the Newark Airport station, and then taking the Airtrain to the airport, and then getting to the hotel. I was wondering if this place has a reliable/complimentary shuttle between there and the airport.

Fairly nice hotel if you get there the day before the show. Even better if you know somebody in the city who would meet you the next morning and take you across the Hudson for some sightseeing once you are done at the show.

I went two years and went into the city for a couple visits. We stayed at the Hilton, not at the AI hotel, it looked like a sh__hole.

If you show up Nick, I'm headed to Manhattan after the show; would be happy to show you around.

No pics, but I had a FABULOUS time. My first air memorabilia show. Bought a 1:200 US Airways A320 (My first 1:200) and a bunch of safety cards/other assorted goodies. Lots of items, great prices, and friendly people.

No pics either :/ but I had just as good as time as last year! Picked up a 200 Eastern 727-200, a 400 Aeromexico 787, a 400 AirTran 717 Orlando Magic livery, AirTran DC-9-30, and TWA 747-100, and a bunch of brochures, and safety cards!
Anybody see me in a Continental 777 shirt?

Now that you mention it, I think I did. I was wearing an Aloha Airline T-shirt.

My take on the Newark show: Smaller crowd than last year but I counted at least four model dealers and at least one model kit dealer. I saw a few Western Models but did not see any Eastern Constellations( not surprised).I did not see any Hobby Master models anywhere. Maybe I just missed them. Although not diecast, I did see a near mint 1/50 scale American Electra with the stand that was sold Friday night. Last minute purchase was the Mohawk BAC-111 by Aviation 2000. I really love the show but it goes by too fast!
