The show is a "GO" and will be held on October 28th. I'll be one of the vendors at the show. I will let the show organizer make the official post on the DAC. Cheers! T7

Hi 57goodwrench, where have you been? Because it's you, I will provide you an update:

Oct 28th, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 3311 Caroga Drive, Mississauga L4V 1A3, 10am to 3pm, $6 admission, I think it's free parking (don't hold me to this).

I hope I don't get in too much trouble with Thunderbird2 for leaking the info on the forum. Cheers! T7 (by the way, I will also be bringing the corgi 1/72 and Franklin Mint Armour 1/48 models to the show)

Just out of curiosity, Mr. T7, what sort of things will you be vending? (That way if I make it, I'll know who I'm about to talk to!)

Hi Upkeep, the Western models are the ones manufactured in the United Kingdom (not made in China). Cheers! T7

Thanks for that. (You could have just said 'diecast' or 'books' or 'DVDs' or something generic. ) Regardless, good to know, as I'll try to drag my brother out as well. The last one we went to we have a great time picking up bits of retro-era ephemera. If we make it, I'll look you up and introduce myself.

Hi Upkeep, thank you for reminding me about the books and magazines! Yes, I'll be selling these also for the first time. I do have some 'retro-era books' that are for sale. Cheers! T7 (also, I'm hoping that another friend of mine will be able to help me out, I think you may know him)

Sounds like I better get my name tag with "Upkeep" on it out and pinned on for that show. Sounds like I may run into half of the forum here.

Hi 1:200Freak
Yes, the show is on Oct 28th, new hotel as I outlined above. If you are able to receive paypal payments prior to the show all the better, that way you are just providing a pickup service for the new collectors/owners! I don't put a 'sold sign' on a model, until I have that paypal payment or cash in my hand.

Great to hear you will be at the show, along with other 'respected' and 'esteemed' YYZ DAC collectors/members. Cheers! T7
