I'm quite lucky at home as my local model train & diecast car/bus/truck shop has an account with CDC's distributors in England and he is very good about ordering in. I just look through the catalogue or tell him the model I've seen somewhere else and he'll get within a couple of weeks, and his prices are cheaper than almost all the prices I've seen from UK shops on the Internet. I wonder if some of those big British diecast aircraft shops are ramping prices and ripping customers off, as the old boy running my local shop showed me the distributors price list with their suggested retail mark up, and it's very different from the prices I see from some very famous model aircraft shops in England...... He's the same with Herpa, seeing the prices for some Herpa's in certain shops and his suppliers prices for Herpa, something is very wrong in England, that's why I decided to buy my 1/400 models from America via the web.
