I think the point is that because of the donation, Jet-X sent a "thank-you" model. Dave might be correct that the model was gathering dust in the warehouse, but that in my opinion is not even part of the topic. If I was collecting donations for something I was behind, and had something that wasn't valuable to me, but might be to the person that donated...I think I would send it. It helps me to open up some space, and makes the person that trusted me with their donations happy. It is a win-win situation.

I don't think ANYONE donated ANYTHING with the idea they might benefit from it personally. I think insinuating that was the rational behind sending a contribution is pretty tasteless, or at least dead-on wrong.

My glass is up to Jet-X, and to anyone that donated time, money or blood to this crisis.
