I don't care if the actual jetway moves up or down or side to side...They will be glued in place and I will map out which model will be assigned to what jetway in the pre-construction stages and then place the jetway at the appropriate height and at the appropriate angle....and of course will leave some empty to give it more of a realistic feel to the layout.
I am leaning towards using Plastruct materials since that would save me a bundle, dollarwise, plus, let me be a bit more creative and besides, in any given airport, not all jetways are aligned the same way or have the same length, etc...
For the proposed Terminal 4 at JFK, I plan on using 16 jetways from Gemini since those come closest to what the actual jetways look like in reality. Now, at 3 in a set by Gemini, I will need 6 sets, with 2 to spare. At about $10-14 dollars per set, I could be spending $70 dollars and up just on some jetways.....
