Re: Airliners.net Acceptance Time
Dude...you cant give up on this. Aviation Photography does not come instantly to anyone. I've been taking pictures for probably close to 8 years now, and only recently have they been "good enough" to be hosted on Jetphotos.net. I'm not even Airliners.net quality...not that I care though. I second Billy when he says that as long as you have fun at the airport, see what you want to see, and YOU are satisfied with YOUR pictures, then thats all that matters. Now if I were you, I would invest in a moderately priced digital camera with a good lens on it. Your fujifilm seems to give the pictures a grainy appearance. I would look at some cameras in the Nikon family. They're reasonably priced (the lenses can be a bit much though) and they are fantastic cameras. I use a Nikon and I believe Billy does too, and Crash and Burn Airlines just decided to get himself a Nikon D40. Also, what I have come to realize is that you can take a good picture, but the editing is what will make the difference. You said you ordered photoshop, so you're in good shape.
But dude, from one young photographer to another, you can not give up on such a unique hobby as this. Keep your head up, use the criticism to better your shots, and focus on what you want to achieve. Trust me, it works lol.
