Yes, I noticed imediatelly that you had cut off the edge of the tail in your DC-9 shot. The colour cast was fixed though.

Also I see a JAL 747 with one of it's wings cut off too.


In short, just think of it as submitting pictures to magazines, they will only take the best or if you have the only picture of a truly remarkable and/or newsworthy event.
