The trick to getting photos onto those sites it to not give up. Its just part of the hobby.
Some tips. Try to always be aware of if you have the whole aircraft in the photo, no tails or wings or noses cut off; that is one of the main things that those site will get you for. Keep playing around with the Aperture and Shutter speed settings until you get some nice pics (I like 1/500 and F-stop of 5).
BTW, what sort of cam do you have?
