Yep they really were sold a pup by one or two '1/200' protectionists... and IMPO they went too large... if they had stayed at the Trident/Caravelle/1-11/737 size they would have been more appealing... If they had taken on the 737/727/DC4/6/7 mantle then there would have been the schemes as well as the overseas interest...
... and if they had made the above in 1/200 they would have made a lot more profit and used a lot less raw material...
lot of 'ifs'.... shame really as in full flight with a bit of a touch up... well quite a lot of touch up... the models do have presence...
