Once again, nice 'bird Nick! I'm surprised that the only mod you've done is the skip-shift override. I thought by now you would have gotten a high-flow exhaust filter, or at least filled the tires with hi-performance radial air.
Netcrawer, the Firebird T/A has a different hood because of the Ram Air setup. Instead of just having two openings between the headlights, the T/A has four. The Ram Air intake is directly behind those, so air is forced in without picking up a lot of debris like in the setup you mentioned.
