Hi SF,
Yes...ultra-long range flights. This airplane would operate between city pairs such as Buenos Aires/-Shanghai nonstop (19,595 km), Madrid Spain-Wellington, New Zealand (19,800km) Heathrow-Hong Kong (21,602km),Seattle-Kuala Lumpur (20,044km).
The particular sonic cruiser concept is about 300' in length (see comp photo with 777-300), with a wingspan around the same. It would incorporate folding wingtips (as the 777 was originally was shown to have), to access the current wide-body stands. It (VERY) loosely resembles the Convair Nuclear bomber concept. The larger wings also will allow for numerous fuselage stretches in the future w/o major re-engineering.
