The damage you have there is a typical seamline damage.
The IF200 747 fuselage is made of two halfes. Upper and lower fuselage half are held together by six screws and the seam gets puttied.
After this, the model is coated by a rather thick and crisp oven baked color (white on your PA) that perfectly hides scratches and the seam.
There obviousely went something wrong with this one. Normally, you'd have to drop the model to get an impact strong enough to cause a crack along the seamline.
On yours I could imagine that under some conditions the fuselage halfes get some strain/tensions (correct wording?) when being screwed together. If the ready model is transported or exposed to heat, those tensions might "work" resulting in cracks in the brittle coat along the seam.
I'm afraid there's not much you could do to really fix it.
Below is a pic of a model I got via ebay - there's absolutely no way to fix such a damage other than completely stripping and starting from scratch. According to the seller it was accidently dropped.
